If you like destinations that average more than 300 days of sunshine every year then Queensland is the place for you; but don’t be fooled into thinking Queensland is just about sun, sea and sand, it has plenty more to show you. Of course the Great Barrier Reef is a must-do on any itinerary; you must relax on an island paradise and see the many tropical cities.

Venture inland and you’ll not be disappointed, the Gold Coast hinterland is an unspoilt landscape of national parks. The most famous of these is Lamington National Park, characterised by rugged mountain ranges and subtropical rainforests. Not to be forgotten is the oldest rainforest on earth, Daintree National Park in Tropical North Queensland is an untamed wilderness stretching out to meet the reef.
