Renter Protection:
Protection cover is compulsory. There is the choice of: Standard Excess Apollo’s rates which include a standard excess of AUD5000.
A security deposit (bond) of AUD5000 will be taken. Payment is only accepted via credit card. The credit card will be processed, that is, the full amount will be debited from your account immediately. 

(1) Reduction Option 1: The cost is AUD20 (AUD30 4WD) per day. An excess and Security deposit (bond) of AUD2500 applies. The maximum amount payable for this option is AUD1000.

(2) Reduction Option 2 (VIP Cover is included within the All inclusive rates): The cost is AUD35 (AUD45 4WD) per day. This gives you a AUD250 excess. A security deposit (bond) of AUD250 applies. The maximum amount payable for Total Cover is AUD1750. The Protection Cover is payable at pick up.

NOTE: Damage caused in circumstances where the terms of the contract are breached is not covered. LIABILITY: This is the maximum amount payable for any damage caused to the vehicle regardless of cause. General Conditions
Apollo Motorhomes will collect a security deposit upon collection of the vehicle. If you choose the Standard Liability, the credit card will be processed for AUD5000 immediately. With Reduction Option 1 and Reduction Option 2, a bond is payable by cash, traveller’s cheques or by an open signed credit card (Bankcard, MasterCard or Visa) imprint with an authorisation obtained for the amount of the bond.

Vehicle collection and return: Your vehicle will be available for collection and return to Apollo Motorhomes depots only (not airports). Vehicles must be collected and returned between 0815 and 1615 daily except Christmas Day, New Years Day and Good Friday. It is your responsibility to make your own way to and from the depot. Branches - Adelaide, Alice Springs, Brisbane, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Townsville.

Age Restriction/Drivers Licence:  Minimum age is 21. A valid, non-provisional, State, Overseas or International licence is acceptable. The licence must be in English characters. No extra driver fees apply.

Daily Hire Basis: All rentals are calculated on a calendar day basis. The days of collection and return of the vehicle are counted as full rental days; irrespective of what time it is collected and returned. When a rental moves from one rate season into the next, the calculation is based on both rates.

Minimum Hire Period Local Hires: The minimum hire period is 5 (five) days.
Long Term Rental Discounts Rentals over 21 days are eligible for our long term rates. Please refer to our rates schedules. Multiple rentals can also be combined to qualify the renter for a long term rate.

One Way Rentals: The fee for one way rental is AUD200 payable on pick up. If the drop off destination changes after the rental has commenced, an additional charge may apply.

Broome Rentals: An additional charge of AUD400 applies for rentals picking up and dropping off (or both) in Broome. This fee does not apply to the 4WD Adventure Camper. The Broome Surcharge is in addition to the one way fee if applicable.

L.P. Gas Refill Service Fee: The Gas bottle(s) is supplied full. A service fee is payable on pick up of the vehicle. AUD15 - Hi Top & Adventure Camper AUD30 - Euro Motorhome range The gas bottle can be returned empty to Apollo at the completion of the rental. The fee applies for each part of a multiple rental.

Additional Equipment: (must be prebooked ) Baby Seat AUD20 per rental, Booster Seat AUD20 per rental, Camp Table AUD20 per rental, Camp Chairs AUD10 each per rental. Taxes Rates include GST. A 2% government stamp duty is payable on pick up. Living Equipment Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, linen, sleeping bags, pillows and towels are included in the vehicles as well as an Apollo Welcome Pack.

Cancellation Fees
25 days prior to pick-up - No fee 7 -
24 days prior to pick up - 20% of Gross Rental (minimum AUD250)
Less than 7 days prior to pick up - 50% of Gross Total
If cancelled on the day of pick up or no show - no refund
There is no refund for early return of vehicle for any reason whatsoever.
