On arrival in Auckland you will be met and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a tour of the City of Sails and tonight get to know your fellow travellers and Tour Director at a special Welcome Dinner.

This morning journey to the Waitomo Caves for a tour of the fascinating limestone caverns and glow-worm grotto, then continue onto Rotorua. This evening you will enjoy a traditional Hangi feast and Maori cultural performance of song and dance.

Today visit Rainbow Springs Nature Park, where hopefully you will see the elusive Kiwi, walk through the native New Zealand bush and come face to face with the Tuatara - New Zealand's living dinosaur! Following this your next stop is at the Agrodome, a fun and interactive experience. Not only can you see the famous Agrodome Sheep Show but you can take part in one of many adrenalin fuelled activities. After all the excitement you'll be taken to Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see the power of geothermal energy first-hand. The rest of the day is at leisure for relaxing or further exploring.

A country homestay option is available tonight.

This morning is free before flying to Christchurch early afternoon (airfare not included); on arrival in Christchurch you will be transferred to your hotel and the rest of your day is at leisure to explore the Garden City.

Board the TranzAlpine for one of the world's best rail journeys through the spectacular Southern Alps, disembark at Greymouth on the West Coast and continue down to Franz Josef taking in the dramatic change in scenery.

Journey over Haast Pass and along the shores of the magnificent lakes Wanaka and Hawea and on into Queenstown. Tonight you have a choice of dining options, but a cruise across Lake Wakatipu on the steamboat TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm is definitely recommended.

Absorb the majesty of Fiordland National Park on the journey to Milford Sound. On arrival, enjoy a cruise along the sound, passing beneath cliffs, tumbling waterfalls and towering mountains. Return to Queenstown by coach or perhaps take an optional scenic flight back (weather dependant and at own expense).

Enjoy some free time this morning in the activity town of Queenstown before travelling to World Heritage Listed Mount Cook National Park, home to Australasia's highest mountain known to the Maoris as Aoraki.

Travel via Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo, Burkes Pass and the Canterbury Plains before arriving in Christchurch in the afternoon for your flight to Sydney (airfare not included). On arrival you will be transferred to your luxurious hotel and then the rest of the day is at leisure to explore the harbour city at your own pace.

After a leisurely breakfast embark on a city tour of Sydney, discover the famous sights such as tranquil Hyde Park and incredible Bondi Beach. Afterwards, join an unforgettable luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour, viewing the iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House up close. Later step inside the Sydney Opera House for a guided tour.

Spend today discovering this vibrant city at your own pace, or take an optional sightseeing tour to the magnificent Blue Mountains or the wine region of the Hunter Valley (at own expense).

This morning fly to Cairns where the rest of the day is at leisure to relax and take in the tropical hideaway.

After breakfast board a guided cruise to the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef, specifically Moore Reef. View the colourful coral and diverse marine life through the glass bottom of your boat. While out on the reef you have the option to go for a snorkel and swim, an experience you'll never forget. Afterwards visit the boat's underwater observatory before a tropical lunch of local specialities is served.

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Cairns then ride the scenic Kuranda Skyrail Rainforest Cableway over lush rainforest to Kuranda. On arrival visit a wildlife park, a great opportunity to have your photo taken with a Koala, later travel back to Cairns via the Kuranda Scenic Railway.

Board your flight to Uluru (Ayers Rock) this morning (airfare not included). On arrival, join a tour of Uluru's base, viewing ancient caves and traditional Aboriginal rock art. From here, walk to Mutitjulu waterhole and hear of Aboriginal legends. You'll then continue to the Maruku Arts and Crafts Gallery to see Aboriginal artists at work. Tonight at the Sounds of Silence Dinner, dine on traditional Australian cuisine under the starts then hear an astronomer talk about the outback night sky.

This morning visit the stunning Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and walk to the majestic Walpa Gorge. Re-board your coach and travel to the outback town of Alice Springs.

Tour Alice Springs this morning, visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service Base and Anzac Hill before continuing on with your holiday.

19 Day passengers will board their flight to Melbourne (airfare not included), an afternoon tour of the sights is included before dinner on the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant.

22 Day passengers will continue onto Adelaide with a choice of flying or going via rail.  If you choose to fly (airfare not included) you'll be transferred to the airport and will overnight in Adelaide.  If you choose rail you'll board The Ghan for an overnight journey to Adelaide in the comfortable Gold Class cabins.

Today is at leisure in Melbourne, perhaps you'd like to journey to Philip Island to see the unique Penguin Parade (at own expense), when the Fairy Penguins come home to nest on land in the evening.

Today is at leisure in Adelaide to explore the sights, The Ghan passengers will arrive early afternoon.

Today is at leisure in Adelaide to explore, or take an optional sightseeing tour to the wildlife haven of Kangaroo Island or the famous Barossa Valley (both at own expense).

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Melbourne (airfare not included) and on arrival take in the highlights of this cosmopolitan city before heading out to the forests, fern gullies and villages of the Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy breathaking views of the city and Port Philip Bay from the Dandenongs Lookout, listen for the native Kookaburras, Rosellas and parrots.

Today is at leisure in Melbourne, perhaps you'd like to journey to Philip Island to see the unique Penguin Parade, when the Fairy Penguins come home to nest on land in the evening; or tour along the famous Great Ocean Road to see the 12 Apostles (both at own expense).
