Perhaps visit a Platypus House, Seahorse World or Beaconsfield Gold and Heritage Museum. Tonight meet your fellow travellers at the welcome dinner and drinks.

2

In lavender flowering season (Dec-Jan) visit Bridestowe Lavender Farm before travelling onto Bicheno and East Coast Nature World to learn of Australia's native animals, and to see Delilah APT's sponsored Tasmanian Devil. In Freycinet National Park, walk along Cape Tourville then arrive at Freycinet Lodge where tonight you will enjoy a gourmet barbeque on the deck overlooking magnificent Coles Bay.

3

This morning you have the choice of several touring activities; perhaps cruise to Wineglass Bay and sample some of Tasmania's finest cheeses and sparkling wine served at anchor. Alternatively you might like to take a walk through native bushland to a stunning viewpoint overlooking Wineglass Bay; join a Bluestone Bay 4WD tour; or experience the beauty of Freycinet from a sea kayak. Later travel through Swansea, Richmond and past the Tasman Peninsula's natural wonders to Port Arthur. This evening enjoy a Tasmanian crayfish dinner, exclusive to APT.

4

Today enjoy a full day at Port Arthur Historic site. Witness the penal colony ruins, explore the prison facilities and cruise on Mason Cove around the Isle of the Dead. Perhaps play the 'Lottery of Life' game or stroll around the gardens. Continue to Hobart and tonight is a Dine Around Dinner.

9 Day Royal Tasman guests will join the tour today in Hobart.

5

Spend the morning at the famous Salamanca Market, then for the rest of the day you can pick from the Freedom of Choice Touring options, including a guided walking tour of Hobart; a walk among the tree tops on the Tahune AirWalk; or a traditional afternoon high tea at Historic Hadley's Hotel.

Bruny Island Adventure Cruise Option - Additional £70 per person.
Join a full day tour including a cruise to the rugged coastline of southern Tasmania. For further details please enquire at time of booking. This replaces all other touring on day 5 and must be pre-booked.

6

Follow the Derwent Valley to Mt Field National Park and Russell Falls, enter the lush forests of the Tasmanian Wilderness Heritage Area to Lake St Clair. Then join the restored West Coast Wilderness Railway and take an unforgettable ride through the forest. Tonight, enjoy views over Strahan's harbour while savouring a delicious meal.

7

Board the Lady Jane Franklin II for a Gordon River Cruise with guaranteed window seating and a delicious buffet lunch on board. In the afternoon explore Strahan then dine at either View 42º, Hamers Hotel or The Fish Cafe. Later, perhaps take in a local pantomime on the area's convict history (at own expense).

8

Journey to Cradle Mountain, exploring Dove Lake on arrival. From here, view Cradle Mountain and then visit Waldheim Chalet, a forest home built in 1912. Later, perhaps sample Tasmania's finest wines and cheeses; take a guided Enchanted Walk; join a Night Wildlife Spotlight Tour (limited availability) or pamper yourself at the Waldheim Alpine Spa.

9

Visit the far north-west reaches of Tasmania, see the natural formation of The Nut at Stanley and tour the Woolnorth wind farm. At nearby Cape Grim breathe in the cleanest air in the world before arriving at Smithton.

10

Head to Devonport and Sheffield; tour Ashgrove Cheese Factory and Woolmers Estate where you'll stroll through the beautiful National Rose Gardens. This evening is at leisure in Launceston.
